Rules

While we understand most of these rules and policies go without saying, for the record…

1. Let's try to keep the drama IC! While player drama does happen, we're sure everyone would rather see it kept to our characters' lives.
   
   Harassment of any kind will NOT be tolerated. Any player found harassing another could face removal from the game.
   
   If you're having problems with another player, please let the moderators know so that we can help resolve the situation.


2. No god-modding. Don't assume the actions of another character in your tags without the express permission of their player. God-modding can range from writing the presumed thoughts of another character to stating that an attack has struck them without giving any opportunity to counter or dodge.
   
   Also keep in mind that although we have some powerful characters in this game, no character is perfect. Their weaknesses may be more mental or emotional than physical, but they will have them.


3. In-Character Actions mean In-Character Consequences. The Netherworld may be relatively lawless, but other characters and NPCs can still react to the things your character says and does. If they run around being a reckless jerk, please keep in mind they will probably get into trouble with someone.


4. While mature themes, such as extreme violence, gore, sex, and the like, are not the focus of this game, they are permitted, provided any such material is kept under cuts with proper warnings, tags and use of the 18+ age restriction function in the posting options. Players under 18 should not be viewing or participating in such content.

Activity Check

There is a monthly Activity Check. A character may pass in any of the following ways:

• 2 Posts


• 1 Post and 5 Comments* in another post


• 15 total comments* between two threads

* Log comments count for double.

Characters will only be dropped after they have missed two months of activity. Characters who have been accepted within the same month or are on hiatus for at least 10 days out of the month are exempt from posting activity.
